Jack in the Box marks 75 years with 75-cent Jumbo Jack deal

Jack in the Box is marking its 75th anniversary with a deal honoring one of its original menu items.

The chain, which opened on Feb. 21, 1951, is offering customers a Jumbo Jack for $0.75 with any purchase on Feb. 21. The offer is available only through the Jack app and can be redeemed once.

Officials say the deal is a way of giving back to its fans.

The San Diego-based fast-food chain plans to celebrate its milestone throughout the year with new menu items, returning fan favorites and a slate of limited-time giveaways.

The company said it will roll out several items in the coming months, including the return of the Chicken Supreme, the Hot Mess burger and Frings — a mix of French fries and onion rings.

Jack in the Box is also adding grilled chicken teriyaki and crispy chicken fajita protein bowls to its lineup, along with a White Peach Red Bull infusion and Jack’s sugar cookies.
