Dunkin’ launches 48-ounce beverage buckets in select locations

Is bigger really better? Dunkin’ seems to think so.

The coffee and doughnut chain recently launched Beverage Buckets at select stores in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. These behemoth buckets contain 48 ounces of Dunkin’s signature cold drinks, including its strawberry dragonfruit lemonade refresher, blueberry cobbler iced latte and caramel coco iced coffee ($8-$11). The clear plastic buckets feature a handle and a sealed lid with a straw and are twice the size of a Dunkin’s extra large size.

TikTok user @grace.murf.7157 has amassed 4.2 million views on her Feb. 21 TikTok of the Beverage Buckets. Comments range from praising the low price to concerns that the bucket would not fit in car cupholders. Others pointed out the health risks of consuming such large quantities of sugar and caffeine.

“America is Americaning,” one user commented.

Dunkin’ did not respond to comment regarding which locations offer the Beverage Bucket and for how long it will be available.

The Beverage Buckets come after a recent Dunkin’ promotion of a limited-edition Dunkin’ iced coffee glove. Aimed at allowing iced coffee lovers to continue sipping in cold temperatures, Dunkin’ gave away a pink glove with the purchase of any iced beverage on Feb. 20.
