Craving some crispy, fried, and perfectly-salted fries? You’re in luck: In honor of National French Fry Day on July 11, several fast food chains are giving them away with qualifying purchases.
Here’s a look at the national chains offering free fries on Friday:
Arby’s
If you have an Arby’s Rewards account, you can get one any-sized fry when you order a 1/4 pound Angus Cheesesteak for an online, pick-up-in-store order. You can find more details on the one-time use offer here.

Burger King
With any $1 purchase, Royal Perks members can get a free any-size fry at Burger King on National French Fry Day. The offer is available once per week for Royal Perks members, according to the chain. Also, through July, members are able to get a free sandwich (Whopper Jr., Rodeo Burger, Cheeseburger, and Hamburger) with a purchase of $1 or more on Fridays in honor of National Grilling Month.
Jack in the Box
You can get a free, any-sized fry, regular or curly, with a $1 purchase in the app for National French Fry Day. The deal isn’t one-day only, either — you can find this offer every Friday through the rest of the year.
McDonald’s
McDonald’s — which is already having a big week, considering its beloved Snack Wrap returned to the menu on Thursday — is offering customers free medium order of fries with any $1 purchase made in its app. It’s technically part of its ongoing promotion, Free Fries Friday, which is valid through the end of the year at participating McDonald’s locations.
Shake Shack
In honor of National French Fry Day, Shake Shack is offering customers a free side of fries with any purchase. You’ll just need to use the code FREEFRY in the Shack app, online, or at the kiosk in-store. And if free fries aren’t enough, the company is also releasing a Crinkle Cut Candle Set in its merch store.

Sonic
Those using the Sonic app can receive a free medium order of fries or tots with any purchase made online or via the app, according to a company spokesperson.
Taco Bell
Taco Bell is offering a free order of regular-sized Nacho Fries with a $10 purchase made in its app or on orders of at least $20 made on DoorDash and Grubhub for National French Fry Day.
Wahlburgers
You’ll be able to get free fries at Wahlburgers on National French Fry Day, both in-store and with online orders. To redeem the deal, which began on Tuesday, you’ll need to mention “Fry Day” at a restaurant with a purchase of $10 or more, or use the code FRYDAY25 when checking out online.
Wendy’s
You can get free, any-sized Hot & Crispy Fries with any purchase on the Wendy’s app or website, a spokesperson confirmed to Nexstar. If you miss your chance at free fries on National French Fry Day, don’t worry — Wendy’s is offering free fries every Friday through the rest of the year.
If you’re a big fan of food-related national holidays, you need not wait long for the next. Saturday is National Eat Your Jello Day and National Pecan Pie Day, according to National Day Calendar, while Sunday is National Beans ‘n’ Franks Day.
