If you’re craving some chili — lots and lots of chili — there’s a chance your local Wendy’s may offer exactly what you’re looking for.
Wendy’s Family Size Chili comes in a giant bucket and serves 4-6 people. Recommended for tailgating in a Wendy’s blog dating back to November 2021, the massive menu item recently gained popularity with an insurgence of social media posts featuring creators indulging in the bucket in their cars.
“This thing is absolutely massive,” said TheFireFoodie in a video posted in March.
Similarly, creators like Sophie Saldana and Jas & Kam Food Reviews have amassed hundreds of thousands of likes on TikTok from dipping fries, chicken nuggets and even burgers into their Family Size Chili.

So how can you get your hands on this meaty concoction? Check if your local restaurant carries it online via Wendys.com or through the Wendy’s app. Prices vary by location, which can be viewed online or in the app, according to a Wendy’s spokesperson.
Chili was part of the original Wendy’s menu, dating back more than 50 years. It has since proved so popular that every U.S. location offers the dish, according to a blog posted to Wendys.com. In 2020, Wendy’s sold more than 83 million servings of chili nationwide.
Wendy’s recommends eating its chili with a baked potato, its Hot & Crispy French Fries or Spicy Nuggets for dipping, or alongside a Parmesan Caesar Chicken Salad for carb-conscious diners.
