You’ve probably heard of a pup cup, but have you heard of a pup patty?
At In-N-Out, it’s not only humans who can sink their teeth into juicy burgers, but dogs (and cats) can too, when their human companion asks for a “pup patty.”
The pet-friendly burger is a meat patty without salt and generally costs around $2, although it varies depending on location, according to a company representative. “While a ‘pup patty’ is not listed on our menu, our Associates are happy to prepare a meat patty without salt for any customer or for their four-legged friend,” a representative from In-N-Out tells SavorNation.

Creators have been posting to social media about their experience rdering pup patties for their furry friends. TikTok user @peanut.boo posted a reel of her cat Peanut merrily noshing on a pup patty, with commenters writing, “Peanut gonna be chasing this feeling for the rest of his life,” and “Peanut did you even chew[?]”
TikTok user @pawsbykai posted a video in May bringing Kai into the store and doing a pup patty taste-test. “Kai rated the burger a 10 out of 10,” Kai’s owner said.
