These cities offer the least and most affordable pizza in America

If you’re craving a slice without slicing into your wallet, you’re in luck if you live in Austin, Texas – not so much if you live in San Francisco, Calif.

According to a new study by crypto exchange Chicksx.com, the average pizza price in Austin, Texas, is $7.50 and the average pizza price in San Francisco, Calif., is $17.39. The research analyzed pizza prices in 223 cities nationwide.

Austin offers pizza at prices substantially lower than other major cities across the country. The Texas capital’s average price of $7.50 puts it at the top spot for budget-conscious pizza lovers nationwide.

Texas didn’t stop at one city in the top ten…it delivered three, with Lubbock at #4 and Harlingen at #6. Experts suggest regional economic factors, like lower overhead costs and competitive local markets, may be driving down prices in Texas.
