Who doesn’t love free pancakes?
Did you wake up today thinking about pancakes? Whether you did or not, the news that you can get a stack of them for free on Tuesday, March 3 at IHOP will likely bring a smile to your face. Because who doesn’t love a plate of piping hot pancakes they didn’t have to pay for?
The popular restaurant chain has declared the first Tuesday in March as National Pancake Day, and truly, no objections here. We are still in the thick of winter doldrums and could use a reason to smile. A little pile of hot buttermilk pancakes is tomorrow’s reason. That’s right — you can grab yourself a Short Stack (that’s three pancakes) for free between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
While free fluffy pancakes is a great way to spend a Tuesday, IHOP is also asking customers to donate as little as $1 to help provide as many as 10 meals to local Feeding America partner food banks. The chain is also offering the chance for IHOP customers to meet viral social media personality and musician Mr. Fantasy at its Hollywood location from 2-5 p.m. on March 3. Apparently he’s super into pancakes, which is incredibly relatable TBH.
While pancakes are usually thought of as a breakfast food, don’t limit yourselves. If you have a busy week happening, take the kids to your local IHOP for a free pancake dinner on Tuesday, as well as quality time spent together.
