Costco just announced it has expanded its delivery partnership nationwide, meaning members in 47 states (originally 17) can now order bulk groceries from the couch. (And yes, while you could get your Costco fix delivered via Instacart and DoorDash, it never hurts to have another option — especially when there are discounts involved.)
So instead of fighting for a flatbed cart and dodging the sample stand traffic jams (and inevitable weird looks from the attendant), you can just tap a few buttons on your phone and have someone else do the heavy lifting. I mean, if it’s good enough for Gordon Ramsay, right?
Full disclosure: I don’t have a Costco or Sam’s Club membership (cue collective gasps). I’m one of those slightly unhinged people who genuinely enjoy leisurely grocery shopping on a Saturday morning. I like wandering the aisles, looking at the seasonal items I definitely don’t need, and taking my time. But I’m very aware that I’m in the minority here. How to order Costco delivery on Uber Eats
Getting your Costco haul is easy. Just open the Uber Eats app, select your local Costco, and enter your membership account number at checkout. From there, you can choose whether you want your items delivered on-demand ASAP or scheduled for a later time that works for you.
As for what you can buy? The app includes almost everything the warehouse does. You can load your virtual cart with fresh produce, household essentials, bulk groceries, and those exclusive-to-Costco finds — like that 4.5-pound bag of Kirkland Signature chocolate chips.
The best Uber Eats discounts for Costco members
If you’re an eligible Costco member, you can get 50% off your first year of Uber One, plus 20% off the following years. Uber One members get special perks like $0 delivery fees on eligible grocery and retail orders over $60.
On top of that, customers can get 20% off their first three Costco orders of $60 or more on Uber Eats (capped at $25 off per order). And if you want to stretch your money even further, Costco is selling $100 Uber and Uber Eats gift cards for just $79.99 for a limited time, both in warehouses and on their website.
Which states have Costco delivery on Uber Eats?
The service just jumped from 17 states to 47, covering nearly 600 locations nationwide. So if your state has a Costco, you can get your groceries delivered via Uber Eats.
The only states where you can’t use this service are Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Wyoming (because Costco doesn’t currently operate any warehouses there).
