McDonald's holiday drinks

McDonald’s is releasing 3 new holiday drinks today

If your Halloween decorations came down and the Christmas tree went up on Nov. 1, McDonald’s is right there with you. The chain is kicking off its holiday drink menu today, Nov. 3, with cookie butter coffee and two cranberry drinks that come with cold foam and sprinkles.

According to an Oct. 27 announcement, the drinks will be available for a limited time at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.

What’s on McDonald’s holiday drink menu?

  • Frosted Cranberry Splash with Sprite: This drink is basically a deluxe version of Sprite. It’s infused with orange and cranberry flavors and topped with cold foam and cranberry sprinkles.
  • Red Bull Frosted Cranberry Energizer: This drink combines Frosted Cranberry flavor with your choice of classic Red Bull or Red Bull Zero. It’s also topped with cold foam and cranberry sprinkles.
  • Cookie Butter Frappé, Latte, and Iced Coffee: If you’d rather skip the cranberry, these cookie butter drinks come topped with caramel cookie crumbs and sweet vanilla whip.

Some fans have already tried the holiday drinks

The official launch is Nov. 3, but a few Reddit users say they’ve already tried the drinks. In a thread on r/McDonaldsEmployees, a user who identified themselves as a manager said the Frosted Cranberry Energizer’s flavor “isn’t overwhelming, like drinking a light cranberry juice.”

Not everyone thought the Sprite needed cold foam. One commenter said they preferred it without the topping, comparing the flavor to “a middle ground between Cranberry Canada Dry and canned Cranberry Sprite.”

The drinks officially arrive on Tuesday, Nov. 3, but they won’t be permanent additions. McDonald’s hasn’t announced an end date or listed prices, so check your local restaurant before making a special trip.
