Yelp has revealed its 2026 list of the “Top 100 Places to Eat” in the United States — and not a moment too soon to spoil your New Year’s resolutions.
This year’s list, which is based on the ratings and reviews of Yelp’s users, includes eateries specializing in everything from loaded potatoes and cheesy pastas to whipped-cream-topped waffles and chicken-and-biscuit sandwiches. The restaurants featured in Yelp’s new ranking are also scattered across dozens of major metro areas, meaning millions of Americans are within driving distance of a delightfully decadent meal that will completely derail their clean-eating resolutions only weeks into the New Year.

Topping Yelp’s 2026 list is Ci Siamo, an Italian-inspired restaurant in New York City serving such dishes as gnocco fritto (a fried bread usually made with lard), wood-fired Florentine steaks and plenty of rigatoni alla gricia (rigatoni with cheese, pepper and pork), said to be the restaurant’s best-selling pasta.
“The gricia is excellent,” one diner wrote in a review posted to Yelp. “It’s salty, it’s cheesy, it’s velvety, and something without the usual tomato sauce.”

Yelp also identified some “trends” with this year’s list, including an uptick in restaurants specializing in all-day brunch, sandwiches, and Japanese-inspired cuisine. And in a break from past years’ lists, Texas — not California — boasts the most restaurants in Yelp’s 2026 rankings with a whopping 17 entries. (California follows behind with nine.)
