After what feels like years of buildup and excitement, the FIFA World Cup is finally here. The games officially kick off tonight at 3 p.m. EST with the first match set between Mexico and South Africa in Mexico City. That means that if you haven’t already, this is your sign to use that leftover PTO and head out of work early so you can catch the game at your favorite local sports bar. Of course, if you just can’t swing a midweek watch party, at the very least you can celebrate with free Chipotle. That’s right, all you soccer superfans out there, Chipotle is celebrating the World Cup today, June 11, with a matchday BOGO deal made for the fanatics.
To commemorate this summer’s biggest tournament, Chipotle is giving fans new and old an opportunity to showcase their gameday spirit by giving away buy-one-get-one entrees to anyone wearing a soccer jersey when the game kicks off at 3 p.m. Simply slip on your favorite team’s jersey and head to your nearest Chipotle to take advantage of the deal.

Whether you’re showcasing your love for your favorite club or you’re celebrating your favorite local team, as long as you’re wearing a soccer jersey, you’ll be rolling in the barbacoa beef with extra guac in no time. The only stipulation is that you must purchase an entree of equal or lesser value and wear a soccer jersey to take advantage of the promo. But the fun doesn’t stop at matchday. Chipotle is also celebrating the kickoff of the global game by releasing its very own soccer jersey, and 53 lucky fans will have the chance to win one.

Starting June 10 through June 24, fans can exchange 10 reward points for a chance to win one of the 53 jerseys, with winners announced before the tournament final. The front of each soccer jersey features the words “Real Chipotle,” a nod to some of the sport’s most iconic clubs and to Chipotle’s longstanding “Food With Integrity” philosophy. On the back of the jerseys, the number 53 is a reference to the number of ingredients fans can choose from at Chipotle. It’s the perfect mix of streetwear and performance-inspired style. In order to score one of the limited-edition jerseys, fans must be signed up for the Chipotle Rewards program, which you can sign up for on its website.
And even if soccer isn’t your thing, when you sign up for Chipotle Rewards, you’ll also earn free chips and guac with your first purchase. Now that’s plenty to celebrate.
