Panera sandwiches and salads on a table

Panera launches its first-ever value menu

Panera’s new Mix & Match Menu is giving our wallets some (much needed) relief

If you’ve been taking advantage of Panera’s famous “You Pick Two” option for as long as you can remember, we get it. No one should have to choose between mac and cheese or the broccoli cheddar soup. Nope, you want it all, and things just got better for anyone who has more than two favorites on the menu (aka all of us). At a time when everything seems to being going up in price, Panera is giving us all a break by announcing its first-ever value menu.

Panera just announced a brand-new Mix & Match Menu, which lets guests choose from a variety of items for just $4.99 each. It’s the first time the company has offered a dedicated value menu, which is great, because we probably all need it right now. “The Panera Mix & Match Menu is Panera at its best: delicious menu offerings made from thoughtfully sourced, quality ingredients like Fuji apples, spicy soppressata or focaccia bread — now brought together on a value menu designed to offer a deal that’s actually a meal,” said Mark Shambura, Chief Marketing Officer.

What’s in Panera’s new value menu?

The new deal offers half-cup portions of 10 popular items, including soups, salads, sandwiches and a seasonal item that rotates throughout the year. You can choose from two to 10 items, and your order includes the choice of a free baguette, chips or an apple.

Menu options include half sandwiches like the Toasted Italiano, Toasted Caprese Focaccia and the Bacon Turkey Bravo, salads like the Fuji Apple Chicken, and the very popular Creamy Tomato and Chicken Noodle soups.

If your favorite sandwich or side isn’t on the Mix & Match Menu, no worries. The “You Pick Two” isn’t going anywhere, so you can still choose anything off the menu at regular pricing.
