How can you make mango sticky rice from scratch?
Very few ingredients are needed to make mango sticky rice from scratch. Wash and cook white glutinous sweet rice. While the rice cooks, simmer coconut milk, sugar and salt in a saucepan. When the rice is finished cooking, combine the sauce and rice. While the sauce absorbs into the rice, make the coconut sauce by simmering coconut milk, sugar and salt, thickening it with a cornstarch slurry. Plate up the sticky rice with coconut sauce and sliced mango and serve.
