The famous red cup is back — Starbucks holiday cup designs launch today

Starbucks has officially traded pumpkin orange for holiday red! The 2026 Starbucks holiday cup designs arrive today, Nov. 5, with nostalgic ribbons, bows and festive colors. There’s even a holiday treat for dogs this year: For the first time, Starbucks is introducing a holiday-themed pup cup.

The holiday menu is back, too, with new tiramisu-inspired drinks, and plenty of returning favorites and seasonal treats. Here’s everything to know before your next Starbucks run, plus a few ways to enjoy festive coffee drinks at home.

Starbucks is going retro with its 2026 holiday cup designs — this year’s collection combines traditional red and green with vintage-inspired shades of pale mint, antique gold, deep cranberry and creamy white. Ribbons and bows tie all the designs together, creating a nostalgic, gift-wrapped look.

There are four designs for hot drinks, featuring decorated Christmas trees, colorful ornaments, twine garlands, bows and twinkling stars. The holiday cold cup has its own design, with evergreen branches and red bows. The festive artwork also appears on Starbucks’ pastry bags and shopping bags.

But the cutest new addition this year is definitely the first-ever Starbucks holiday pup cup. The 3.5-ounce cup features a dog inspired by Junie, a real-life beagle. The special design will be available at company-operated Starbucks locations for a very limited time, while supplies last, so don’t wait if you want to get one for your four-legged friend.

And mark your calendar: Red Cup Day is Nov. 17. Customers who purchase a handcrafted holiday beverage at participating locations that day will receive a collectible reusable red cup while supplies last.

The Starbucks holiday menu is getting several festive new additions for 2026, including two drinks inspired by tiramisu.

The new Tiramisu Velvet Latte, available hot or iced, combines Starbucks Signature Espresso, milk and vanilla syrup with Velvet Mascarpone Cold Foam and a dusting of cocoa. The Tiramisu Velvet Cold Brew features cold brew coffee with vanilla syrup, the same mascarpone cold foam and cocoa topping.

There’s also the new Apple Pomegranate Refresher, which features crisp apple flavors and popping pomegranate-flavored pearls, or the creamy Snowy Apple Drink, made with coconut milk.
