Orange Cream Starbucks drinks with one blended, one matcha and one cold brew

Starbucks bets on nostalgia with a new Orange Cream lineup

Starbucks launches summer drinks that are pure nostalgia

Remember taking trips to the ice cream truck for Orange Creamsicles in the summer? That’s the vibe Starbucks is trying to capture with its new summer drink lineup, all inspired by that creamy, dream orange-and-vanilla taste.

Beginning July 28, the coffee chain will add five Orange Cream beverages spanning cold brew, espresso, matcha, chai and Frappuccinos. The launch takes a familiar combination — bright citrus softened with sweet vanilla cream — and adds it to nearly every corner of the cold drink menu.

The Orange Cream Cold Brew starts with Starbucks’ signature cold brew and adds a “bright, creamy citrus layer.” If you prefer espresso, you can get the Iced Orange Cream Latte, which combines Starbucks Blonde Espresso with milk and orange and vanilla flavors over ice.

If coffee isn’t your thing, there are also options for you: The Iced Orange Cream Matcha combines matcha, milk and ice with creamy citrus notes layered into the drink, with earthy green tea and orange pairing together perfectly. The Iced Orange Cream Chai takes the same idea in a warmer direction, blending spiced chai and milk with a bright orange twist to land somewhere near an orange-spiced dessert.

And for the most ice cream-adjacent treat, try the Orange Cream Frappuccino, which blends sweet orange and vanilla flavors with milk and ice, then pours the mixture over whipped cream and adds another layer of whipped cream on top. Yes, the whipped cream is on both ends. It’s summer. Treat yourself.

Starbucks Dandy collab
Starbucks/ Dandy Worldwide

Also rolling out on July 28, Starbucks is launching a merch collab with Dandy Worldwide, a Southern California fashion brand founded in 2021 and known for colorful, embroidered hoodies. Starbucks says the merchandise takes inspiration from Dandy’s “Road Trip” hoodie and serves as the final chapter of the chain’s summer road trip theme.

The limited-edition merch drop will include drinkware (covered in retro, road trip-inspired graphics) and a hat. It will arrive at select Starbucks coffeehouses in the U.S. and Canada on July 28, while supplies last. Prices and the complete product list have not yet been released. Knowing how limited releases have gone in the past, though, they may sell out quickly or be hard to find — so plan on potentially taking a road trip to get your hands on this merch.
