These zero-proof options allow everyone to cheers to the new year

The holidays are all about connection, celebration — and yes, cocktails. But “cheers” doesn’t have to mean alcohol. If you’re hosting a party, we encourage you to consider serving up at least one low-sugar zero proof option (that isn’t water). And if you’re heading to a party, bring a few zero-proof options to ensure that you, and others, can fully immerse in the party, and still feel great the next day.

Here’s our 2025 holiday zero-proof toolkit for keeping things festive, flavorful, and fun all season long. You can find many of these at Cali Sober Market, a local favorite for all things alcohol-free, plus Martin Wine Cellar, Dorignac’s, Robert’s and even Total Wine.

Zero Proof Spirits

Brands like Ritual, Lyre’s, and Seedlip offer everything from gin to whiskey alternatives, perfect for crafting your favorite cocktails without the alcohol.

Non-Alcoholic Wines

Explore the growing world of NA wines from Sovi, Sapiens and Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay. These mimic the flavor and mouthfeel of traditional wines with fewer calories and less sugar.

Non-Alcoholic Beers

NA beers have come a long way, and now they actually taste good! Check out Athletic Brewing Co. and Partake Brewing (Molly’s current favorite – it’s very low in carbs and calories), offering craft-style beers from IPAs to stouts, all without the alcohol.

Bitters + Botanicals

Add depth and balance with a few drops of El Guapo’s non-alcoholic bitters, a local Louisiana brand that brings instant cocktail sophistication to sparkling water, tonic or soda.

Adaptogenic Add-Ins

Mix in adaptogens like ashwagandha for stress relief or L-theanine for calm clarity. Try adding a dropper of ashwagandha tincture with lime and soda for an easy mocktail. (Not advised for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; check with your healthcare provider before adding new supplements.)

Ready-to-Drink Options

For grab-and-go convenience, stock up on El Guapo Bitters & Soda or sparkling hop waters. We also love zero-proof cocktails that are also low in sugar, like Peak Cocktails. They’re crisp, refreshing and perfect for mingling without missing out.

Bottom Line

Zero proof doesn’t mean missing out — it means leveling up. Whether you’re mixing, gifting or bringing your own, these alcohol-free swaps make it easy to celebrate and stay balanced this holiday season.

Pro tip: Bring your own NA option to gatherings. You’ll have something you enjoy and might inspire someone else to give it a try.
