Starbucks is releasing a Black Cat Frappuccino for Halloween

It’s officially spooky szn (we haven’t hit the autumnal equinox just yet, but I’ll allow it), and Halloween-themed treats are popping up all over the place — though some are scarier than others.

What’s on Starbucks’ Halloween menu?

This week, Starbucks announced that it’s launching two brand-new menu items on Oct. 22: the Black Cat Frappuccino Blended Beverage and a Venti Black Night Cookie. The frappuccino is everything you’d expect it to be — a chocolate cake-flavored Crème Frappuccino topped with whipped cream and a cat-ear-shaped chocolate that’s definitely giving Ariana Grande circa 2015 vibes. The cookie is a large, “shareable” (OK, Starbucks) black cocoa cookie packed with caramel fudge pieces and chunks of caramelized white chocolate.
