About this recipe

This Asian beef stir-fry is a quick and colorful dish that brings restaurant-style flavor straight to your kitchen. Tender top sirloin steak strips are stir-fried with crisp vegetables and tossed in a savory sauce perfect over hot rice for an easy weeknight dinner.

It’s so easy and fast that you can use one pan and have dinner done in half an hour. Not only that, it’s healthy, and a great way to use the produce sitting in your produce drawer. Customize this recipe with any vegetables you like.

Top sirloin is nice and tender, and it’s a little less expensive than other cuts of meat, so you can feed the whole family for a lot cheaper than eating out. This dish is packed with protein, iron, B-vitamins for energy and zinc, which helps with immunity.

For convenience, this recipe uses store-bought stir-fry sauce, but you can make your own. Add whatever flavors you like, such as soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, sesame oil, broth, Sriracha chili-garlic sauce and honey for sweetness.

Keep in mind the following safe handling tips: Wash hands before and after handling raw meat. Keep raw meat separate from other foods. Clean all cutting boards and utensils after use. Cook steaks to 145°F (medium rare) and rest for 3 minutes. Cook ground beef to 160°F. Refrigerate leftovers promptly.
